Q: Can we please clarify if section 19 can be applied for accrued leave. Is the employer able to request that accrued leave be taken as well as entitled.

A: Section 19 is about annual holiday entitlement not accrual because to give leave in advance it has to be agreed by the employer and Section 19 is about directing an employee to take annual entitlement.
