NZPPA Annual Conference 2010 and Payroll Expo

The New Zealand Payroll Practitioners’ Association 3rd Annual Conference and Payroll Expo will be held on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th November 2010. The NZPPA annual conference is the largest payroll event in New Zealand and every year it gets bigger and better. We are expecting 200+ attendees this year.

CONFERENCE OUTLINE

The theme of our third conference is “Pay Smarter – Technology, Control, Development”.

Technology – the latest advances in technology that aid payroll in achieving its business outcomes and the work payroll professionals do.

Control – effective control of payroll will ensure it is cost effective, runs smoothly, compliant, and will minimise risk to the business.

Development – the development of payroll staff is one of the core payroll activities are cost and time effective, can be measured and benchmarked.

The latest update in regard to the holidays act review will also be a focus of this year’s conference.

The provisional agenda will be available from mid September 2010.

It is expected that the conference will run from 9 am to 5 pm on 23rd November followed by networking, drinks and supper. Timings for the 24th November will be from 9 am to 4 pm.
