Query on annual leave cash up

Q: Please can we run a scenario past you..

If an employee has excessive outstanding leave and they would like to cash some up, they have been with the company for over 8 years and we pay an additional week each year above legislation would this mean we could pay 16 weeks as the maximum cash up?

8 years x 1 week additional leave a year plus 8 years x 1 week legislation allows for each entitlement year to cash up therefore 16 weeks in total?

A: Extra entitlement you can do what you want based on what has been agreed.  Minimum entitlement only 1 week of current entitlement can be paid out no leave from previous years not used can be paid out.
