Q: In Australia we have Pay Transparency or Pay Secrecy as part of Fairwork guidelines, we were wondering if there was anything legislated like this in New Zealand?

A: We have the Equal Pay Act, this focuses on gender that Males and Females must be paid the same for the same type of work.
There has been talk about employers having to front up and show and employees can ask what other employees are getting paid but that has yet to get into legislation.
