Q: Am i correct in saying we only pay casuals for a public holiday that fell on a tuesday – if they worked three out of the last 4 Tuesdays? Ie our employee started 17/04/23 and wants to be paid for Anzac day 25/04/23

A: What you have stated is a test that is commonly used and yes anything from 2,3, or 4 Tuesdays out of 4 would be considered an otherwise working day for a alt holiday.  The employee would get paid 1.5 for actual hours worked on the PH.
