A: Unpaid sick is counted as continuous employment (Section 16 of the Holidays Act). ACC work or non-work is also counted as continuous employment (section 16).
Also keep in mind with ACC that when annual holiday entitlement is taken it is still the greater of AWE and OWP and not just AWE that is used for annual holiday entitlement earned while on parental.
