Q: If a casual employee becomes permanent part way through the year, upon anniversary is the annual leave entitlement provided pro-rated based on portion of permanent status or is it 4 weeks regardless?  If this is mentioned in the act, would you mind please advising of sections.

A: When the employee has met the criteria of 12 months continuous employment they get 4 weeks, no such thing as prorate in the Holidays Act.
