Who Should Attend
Payroll practitioners, payroll managers, and anyone responsible for payroll compliance or preparing for the proposed Employment Leave Act.
Purpose
Together, these webinars give payroll practitioners a clear practical foundation in two critical areas of the new legislation.
The first webinar explains notional rosters — when they are required, how they differ from employment agreements and operational work rosters, and why accurate working-pattern information is essential for leave processing.
The second webinar introduces the principal new calculations and statutory tests that will underpin leave processing under the hours-based framework, including accrual, leave taken, public holidays, alternative leave and the Leave Compensation Payment.
By attending both webinars, participants will understand both the working-pattern information payroll needs and the calculations and tests that must be applied to process leave correctly.
