NZPPA “PayTalk” Member Briefings

As part of NZPPA membership NZPPA has introduced “PayTalk” member briefings held throughout the main centres and on occasion in Australia.

PayTalk” briefings are FREE to NZPPA members. If you are not a member you can still attend but a token charge of $15 will be charged (paid prior to the event).

NZPPA plan to run 4 of these briefings in the main centres across the year and at least one in other locations as demand allows. NZPPA will also do the same in Australia for our Australian based members. NZPPA expect a briefing to be from 1 hour to an hour and a half.

The purpose of NZPPA “PayTalk” member briefings is to:

  • Tell you about the latest NZPPA developments

  • Any upcoming changes that will impact on payroll, or intersects with the work you do in payroll

  • Top issues coming through to NZPPA PayTech AdviceLine

  • Any new resources available for payroll (not just from NZPPA)

  • From time to time guest speakers will also be involved

  • You will be able to ask your questions directly (and if they cannot be answered there and then NZPPA will follow it up and get back to you).

  • It is also an opportunity to network with your NZPPA colleagues.

Where are “PayTalk” briefings held?

There will not be any set permanent venue used for a “PayTalk” briefings but when NZPPA training is being run in the location NZPPA will add a briefing to be run at that venue at the same time for ease of coordination and to reduce costs.

As we plan to provide some catering for attendees at a briefing we really need to know how many will be attending, so all you have to do is email to book your seat. If you book and then can’t attend we would also really appreciate if you would make contact to tell us.
