Port Nelson is the maritime gateway for the Nelson Marlborough region – a vital hub for economic activity and a key stakeholder in the region’s continued growth and prosperity.
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the PNL payroll function ensuring that an efficient and effective payroll service is delivered to all 300+ stakeholders; managing payroll reporting and overall system administration; and providing compliance administration for the company. You will be key to driving continuous improvement of the HRIS (Pay Global) system and be across all relevant employment legislation and taxation requirements.
Day to day you will be the super user of Pay Global ensuring all payroll details and maintenance is kept up to date. You will provide excellent customer service and advice to Managers and employees, investigating and problem solving when required.
