Independent Stevedoring Ltd (ISL) is a highly successful stevedoring company operating in ports within New Zealand. We are an industry leader known for providing excellent service, innovative solutions and an outstanding place to work.
We are looking for an experienced payroll administrator to join our team in our Tauranga office. This person would be responsible for a weekly payroll of approximately 200 employees.
Flexibility of hours is available (between 20 and 30 hours per week) and the rate is commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A love of all things payroll related.
A natural ability for numbers and an eye for detail.
Previous experience in a payroll role.
A thorough understanding of the Holidays Act.
A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and accurate data entry skills.
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
A great attitude and ability to work well with others.
