The 1st April is a busy time for payroll and in 2012 it will see some major changes happening. This half day course will give you the need to know information in plain language so you will be prepared for the 1 April 2012 changes. This is payroll training provided by payroll people.

- Change to the Student Loan scheme
- Changes to SL tax codes.
- When exemption certificates are required to be provided to the employer by the employee.
- Additional repayment codes that can be used (SLCIR).
- Changes to the KiwiSaver and Superannuation Schemes
- Removal of the 2% ESCT exemption.
- How the ESCT will now be applied and calculated.
- Update on plans for opting in employee not presently in KiwiSaver
- ACC earner levy changes
- Minimum Wage changes for 1 April (if applicable)
Updates on:
- Changes to the Child Support Scheme
- Changes Employment Relations Act 2000
- Changes to youth rates
- Any other changes impacting on Payroll 1st April 2011
